Dear students:

Welcome to the blog. This blog is yours to update and fill with memories. It is very simple and easy to use and I hope that you enjoy collecting and writing down your experiences here. Now that I've welcomed you, let me give you your directions and some basic rules for this blog.

DIRECTIONS:

This blog is for your own private and personal reflections on what you have experienced here so far in America. Write about anything! It can be your host family, the classes, the lessons, the field trips--anything. Just express yourself and have fun with it.

RULES:

1. You are expected to write your entries in English, no matter how wrong you think your translations are. I will personally go through and read your posts and check for any mistakes. I will also bring you corrections so that you understand what you did wrong.

2. Do NOT edit other students' entries. You are sharing this blog with your fellow students, respect them and do not change what they have worked on.

3. This is not only a blog for you guys, but also a public blog. That being said, your entries should contain appropriate content. KEEP IT CLEAN. This means no sexual references, illegal substances, profanity, etc.

4. No pictures can be posted of the you guys (the students) for copyright/legal reasons, but you can post pictures of places you went and things you saw.

5. Have fun. This is where you can just open up your thoughts and write what you feel about what you did for the day or about anything else. Enjoy yourselves.

You can talk to me in class the next day. If you want to address the problem immediately, send me an email at  harrypfanmcc@yahoo.com. I check it every morning and night, so I should be able to see your email.
